As I peek out from the Edie O'hara studio there are golden leaves on the ground (note to self; must get U know who to clear them away!), there's more light getting through the trees and Mr Robin is skipping about chirrupping like mad, staking out his territory.
This year a quick Google search reveals a huge selection of winter neckline accessories; scarves, snoods, collars, hats, hoodies; all in a variety of gorgeous colourful fabrics. We've opted to extend the Edie O'hara chunky knit snood colour range across our two product types and to offer three different types of faux fur product in four colour ways.
Tube snoods and infinity snoods have been around for a while but we are still trying to make it possible to allow all colour profiles to find something that 'works' for them. This time we're pretty sure that there is a stocking filler gift for most in the collection. Just go search Google for 'blue (or your preferred colour) chunky knit snood' and see what comes up. Hopefully some our ours will percolate through too !
So far as faux fur goes, it does seem a little hard to find just the right thickness of pile and softiliciousness for these beauties. We've stuck with the colour ways we sourced last year but this time we now offer straight scarves, straight scarves with bobbles / pom poms and circular / infinity scarves. Dimensions are key and we do want our straights to be able to be wrapped or looped, so they are quite long. The infinities will double around the neck, when required, but not choke. Essential we find!
Beyond our two product types, what else is out there? Well take a peek here and scroll down to the Angora Flower Ruffle Beanie - that we like allot. And how about this for class (select pic no. 10) from the last AW cold snap in Kiev - a gorgeous silver grey fur hat with sides to protect ears and necks.
Let's hope it doesn't get that cold this year in the UK and we hope all of you in those colder climes are able to and stay nice and toastie.
Well, wishing you every happiness in the lead up to Christmas 2012. Hope you enjoy the festive season and see you on the other side :-)
